As the director of social media at Ring Ring Marketing, a digital marketing agency for deathcare (funeral homes and cemeteries), I ran the following humorous campaign to show our commitment to serving deathcare professionals.

Objective
There was a rumor going around that Ring Ring Marketing (RRM) was leaving deathcare after years of being established in the space as the No. 1 digital marketing agency. The mission was to help reaffirm that Ring Ring Marketing is still committed to deathcare despite expanding services into other industries (senior care and home improvement).
Why it Worked
Through humor, we subtly showcased RRM Founder & CEO Welton Hong's well-known reputation in deathcare and RRM's long history serving deathcare professionals. We included cameos by suppliers, partners, clients and employees, as well as highlighted our consistent presence at The ICCFA Experience—a major annual deathcare event.
Feedback
I only recently took this role in our social media department, and this series received more engagement than any of our other posts that year. We received tons of positive feedback from suppliers, partners, clients and employees. Welton Hong was even invited to speak at a new event because of it.
While growing my personal brand on LinkedIn, I started creating comedic videos about being a social media manager.
